In 1995 Jeff jumped into the poster world after being a collector for many years. The corporate creative directors job had worn him thin and it was time to get back to what he loved. Since creating Drowning Creek while traveling and vending the Pow Wow circuit in the 80's he had felt the desire to, once again, follow his need to follow his creativity.

In 1998 he restablished Drowning Creek as an online poster shop on a then fledgling auction site called Ebay.

The studio has won several Independent Music Awards (IMAs) for their work, as well as, an Expresso Beans "Poster of the Year" award where the Jam in the Dam 2007 placed third. Drowning Creek's work has also been heavily featured in publications pertaining to rock poster art such as "The Art of Modern Rock" by Grushkin and King, "Swag" by Spencer Drate, The Art of Electric Frankenstein" by Sal Canzoneri, "Panda Meat Source Book 1" by Frank Kozik and "Gigposters" by Clay Hayes. The studio was also featured in the movie "American Artifacts" which was a documentary of the American rock poster scene.

Jeff continues to document moments in space and time for people with his poster work.
